Introducing: Slow Flowers Journal Quarterly

Slow Flowers Journal Digital Edition will debut in June 2022 with the Summer Issue “Botanical Couture,” followed by quarterly issues in Summer, Fall, and Winter.

Led by BLOOM Imprint’s editorial director (and Slow Flowers Society founder) Debra Prinzing, and creative director Robin Avni, the digital magazine delivers news, features, profiles, columns, and essays — and beautiful photography — tailored to the Slow Flowers Community across all facets of the floral marketplace.

SFJ quarterly covers

We’re inviting Slow Flowers sponsors, advertisers, and supporters to join this beautiful project that will blend visual and verbal storytelling while shining a light on the Slow Flowers Movement, its people, designs, and practices.

Our audience includes flower farmers and floral designers, but also the gardening consumer who we call “floral practitioners.” The potential to serve this market with fresh, new, floral content is larger than ever. A recent survey identified that 21 million Americans became first-time gardeners in 2020 — and they have continued digging in the soil ever since.
